On the 21 ft the website does not state the box empty weight. I recall reading it was around 100 lbs ? Anyone know the box weight ?

The weight LIMIT for the box is 100#; not sure what the box itself weighs.

Correct, that this the stated weight capacity on a label inside.

Thank you both but I wanted the weight of the box itself. I sent email to Escape, should know next week, will post what they tell me.

Thank you again.

We have the box and the window over the sink. Both are indespensible in our opinion. Spend money up front, never look back. There are no pockets on caskets.

Insofar as I did not read all of the posts in this thread and only replied to the original question asked by Artlady, I did not realize that a shift in the tectonic plates of this thread occurred causing continental thread drift. With that in mind I recalled comments from at least 6 people here at the rally who
felt the box was "worth it's weight in gold". That said and considering the closing price of gold yesterday was $1,215 an ounce or so, the $700 box must only weigh about .57 ounces though it seems it might be a little heavier than that. You're welcome
Dave

Hi Dave, I like your sense of humor. You seem like a very creative fellow as well. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. Hoping you are up north with all the others and if so having a great time. Kim and I wish we were up there ourselves but will be next year for sure to meet our extended Escape family. I might or might not get the storage box, leaning towards it. Won't decide until I know what it weighs. On anything going on the tongue I have to have weight accounted for.

I bet the box is something you can stick under your arm and carry. Fiberglass is pretty light. It's what you put into the box that gets heavy.
