12 V outlets?

If you don't pay for one, do you get a 12 V outlet in a stock Escape trailer? I expected to find one, but have not.

Re: 12 V outlets?

I don't recollect ordering 12 V outlets for my 17B, but there is one next to the AC outlet and propane detector on the right side at the rear and one next to the AC outlet on the wardrobe at the front.

If I were ordering, I would have another installed outside.

I have bought 12V extension cords and a 12V splitter at The Source so I now have multiple options. And, I always get a laugh when the salesman tries to sell me a 2-year warranty on an $8 item for an additional $2. They always do it with a straight face.

Re: 12 V outlets?

Hi: ronstew... I didn't think Reace had built a stock Escape trailer YET!!! Alf
escape artist N.S. of Lake Erie p.s. our 5.0 has two...one in the corner where I spend timeouts, but it is hidden under the counter extension. The other is in the bed/loft with the TV antenna control.

Re: 12 V outlets?

I looked at my invoice and see there are two 12 volt outlets in the options: one with the "TV ready" package (12v and 110v outlets and cable hookup) and one extra 12 volt outlet. And 2 is what we have so maybe it does have to be ordered as an option.

Re: 12 V outlets?

Dumb and dumber, and I'm both.

The reason I don't recall ordering the 12V outlets with the trailer is that I didn't. I had them installed last year...
