19 Trailer Height?

Does anyone know the height of a standard 19 ( 2012) with the Dometic A/C unit on top? The specs for the 19 say 8'6'' but I wonder if the A/C is higher than the max Fan ( assuming that was included in the 8'6" !! )

My unit is too far away to measure..

I don't believe that the fan was included in the 8'6" and yes, the A/C is higher than the Maxx fan, as I recall about another half foot. We use 9'6" to cover the total height with A/C.

Great question and one that I was also going to ask. At some point we'll construct a cover over the pad we have ready for our Escape, but wasn't sure of the total height of the trailer with A/C.
Until then, I've found what seems to be a high quality soft cover for the trailer until we get something built.
Thanks!

For construction, I would make it quite a bit higher so that you can get up there and do something when necessary without hitting your head or the ceiling.

Cover for Escape

We had a metal carport installed that works quite well. The vertical height is 9ft and the peak goes to 12ft, if I remember correctly. You can get any height and length and the width begins at 8ft.

From Escape trailers via e-mail.

The Standard Height for the 19’ Escape is 8’6” if you add the AC the height increases by 5” which will bring the height to 8’ 11”.
