hello to all I have also been looking for a long time for custom PID for the temperature of the transmission of my tacoma 2016 and today I found in a forum of the torque application the following information I would like to check it works for you I did it and it gives me values of 168 F ° on idle, comment pleace

With our 2014 4Runner, I don't see a transmission temperature of 168 degrees or more unless it's under load.
I did add a Long 4589 transmission cooler, so that's good for maybe a 20-30 degree drop. But I thought the Tacoma has a factory built-in external cooler, whereas the 4Runner did not.
Another data point, the Toyota A750F transmission fill procedure requires idling until the fluid is between 104 and 113 degrees F. For me, it took almost half an hour of idling to get to that temperature.
So I'm skeptical that a Tacoma transmission would idle at 168 degrees F, unless there was prior load.
