21 with Anderson hitch and Power Mover

Our new 21 is ready and waiting! We are having an Anderson hitch installed and need to use a power dolly to get the new baby into its parking spot. The dolly of choice is a Power Mover. Because of the Anderson hitch we will need to have a custom bracket for the power mover. We sent them a couple of pictures that Paul posted of the trailer tongue with the Anderson hitch. They have requested an additional picture of the tongue with an Anderson hitch with the tank cover off and info on how far below the frame the Anderson hitch hangs.

Do any of you have this info? Thanks for your help.

I'd take a picture but the trailer is covered with snow, maybe someone on the west coast can help.

Hello KandS,

I have an Escape 21 with an Anderson hitch and I use a Power Mover AC6 to park it head first in my driveway. It works very nicely. This topic has been covered pretty well in another thread. If you enter "Anyone use a trailer dolly?" in the search field above, one of the returns you see will be a link to that thread, originated by OneOleMan. There are several pictures of the AC6 and the attachment method I use in that thread.

Have a look. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Best,
Fletch

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Did the Power Mover folks make the attachment for you?

Yes. I had the attachment point welded to the trailer frame locally.

One more thing, does anyone know exactly how far below the frame the Anderson hitch hangs?

Thanks

On my 21, the lowest part of the Anderson down rigger is 7.5 inches from the bottom edge of the trailer frame.
