Yes, without the antenna, you would be at 9' - 7", as the A/C is no higher than the loft, according to Reace.

Thank you. I friend of mine who used to drive semi trucks gave me two rules last year when I got my 5.0TA:
1. Know how tall your rig is (which I knew but forgot!)
2. Never go down a road unless you know you can turn around

Those two rules served me well last year on my maiden voyage with the 5.0TA. We leave on Thursday for a 2.5 month trip from Texas to Jasper and back. Should be fantastic. Thanks for your measurement.

Depends on number of batteries and type of dinette. What are you thinking?

Hi Donna D we are doing wrap dinnett. Not doing solar at at build. Thinking of ordering 5.0 with 1 12 volt battery to use until we decide on solar. May just use 2 12's at a later date or 2 6's for more capacity. Looking for pics of battery box and storage area to see if we can do this at later time. We now have a casita but only dry camped twice. We stay mostly in state parks with electric hook-ups.

I too am usually hooked up. I have a U-shape dinette, but went with dual 6volt and am planning solar in the future only because I want to do different types of camping instead of the same-ole-same-ole. I don't have pics of the setup to share. But can tell you how it's setup in my trailer. Looking at the rear from the inside, on the door side on the back wall bench is the large battery box with the batteries. Next to that on the right hand side is the 1500 watt inverter (I got all plugs wired for it), further to the right is the wired surge protector, then a small open space... but I don't have the removable power cord, that's where it's stored. That's it and there's no more room for anything else. Close your eyes, maybe you can visualize it until someone posts pictures

I believe the 21 and 5.0 are similar dimensions at the dinette and I ordered a group 29 battery for my 21. Because of it's size, the battery box was oversized. Later when switching to dual 6ers, I found out the box ETI used was the dual battery box for my group 29, so the made things easier. The battery was located under the curb side dinette seat. I had the "U" option. I believe now they are putting the battery in the rear of the "U" option now.
