50amp to 30amp

Total novice question, can we plug into a 50amp power supply with our 19? I purchased a 50amp to 30amp lead/plug from Campingworld. Just want to make sure we don't fry any systems. Probably going to need our A/C at the campground that only had 50amp power sites available.

Everything should be just fine. As far as load goes, you will only draw what you need, and that is protected by the panel in the trailer. From the 50A outlet, to the panel in the trailer, you only have wiring to handle 30A, but it is protected at 50A. The only (and it is extremely remote) for you to have a problem with this, is if there was a fault on this run of 30A cabling.

Thanks Jim and thanks also for the advice on towing with full tanks, makes sense, whats the point buying a trailer to dry camp if you can't tow with water in the tanks.
