Help !, I picked up my new Escape 17' a couple of weeks ago thinking that I could get a microwave for the cabinet above the refrigerator. Although I stopped at numerous places on the way home from BC to West Virginia I could not find a microwave that would fit in the cabinet. Does anybody know where I can find one that small? Thanks, Ken
If you can't find one that fits your space available there is an alternative.
The cabinet units are really basic and simple construction. Basically thin plywood and 1"x2" pine framing. The plywood is stapled on with a bit of glue. It would be quite simple to remove some material to provide some room for a microwave.
Many of us have re-arranged interior cabinet work. It's easy to match trim to the original. Oak with a water based polyurathane blends right in.
