Picked up our new 2017 21' Escape the beginning of June and after three great months of camping in Canada and the northern US finally got home. After having to deal with birds nesting in the AC on our previous trailer one of the items I wanted to get right away was a cover for the Dometic Penguin II AC (shroud dimensions 29W x 11.25H x 39L).
After searching the forums without finding a good answer I ordered an ADCO 3016 which was supposed to fit, Well, it was close but not good enough to keep birds out since it measures 25W x 11H x 39L and was small in all dimensions. After talking to ADCO, who couldn't explain why this cover was listed as fitting a Penguin II, the best suggestion they could offer was an ADCO 3023 (29W x 14H x 43.75L). Big enough, but maybe too big.
So after a lot of searching and calling some RV accessories retailers I settled on a
Classic Accessories 77440 Model 5 (29W x 12.5H x 42.5L) from Amazon which fits very nicely.
