AC fan when using heater?

Good Morning folks. Should the AC fan come on and stay on when I’m using the propane heater? I’m hooked up to shore power. Heater blows heat and the AC fan is going. It isn’t blowing cold air though.

This morning is the first time I’ve used the heat since last year and I don’t remember if the AC fan came on last year.

****Update. I figured it out. Fan got set to high instead of Auto. Changed to auto and it turned off.

2017 Escape 19.

Thanks,

John.

If you have the digital thermostat, you probably need to reprogram it. You should have a little book to show how to do it. Mine has a hi, lo, and auto. It should be on auto

Thanks guys. If one of the admins could delete my original post, I would appreciate it. That is unless leaving it up may help someone else. Thanks, John.

Don’t feel too bad! I had the same problem as an early owner! I thought “Man, there’s just a little fan blowing the heat out down here in the heater, why does this aircraft engine up here have to blow too?” I mean, come on, you can’t expect us guys to read the manual!

No way it happened to me, I am much smarter than a stupid thermostat.

Excuse me now, I need to go wash my mouth out with soap.

It's such a common occurrence that ETI now, in their orientation, makes a point of telling you the exact steps to go through and what NOT to do ... and why.
