Anderson levelers for 19

I purchased these levelers for our new 19, picking up in August. I'm already aware that they need to be be trimmed, but, there is only one other post on these (at least from my search). Does anyone use these for their 19? How much needs to be trimmed to fit? I need to do this before we leave to pick up our Escape, so we can use them on the way back. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check this thread. It's for the 21', but would also apply to the 19 due to the tandem wheels.

I have used the Anderson for our 19'. We cut 1" off the narrow end, but found it was still tight (we were on the return trip without access to a saw). We found that using a small block under the tires lifts the wheels and gives you all the room that you need. Our process was to back up onto a 1" block. If that wasn't enough, we would pull forward onto the Anderson levelor until it was perfect.

I saw this thread, but still not clear on what he did, tip to end of hold? Tip to end of cut? If he cut 1 1/2 off the end at an angle I would understand, I probably should just send him a PM but thought members might like the info as well.

Once you are on the 1" block, you just slide the Andersons up to the 1" blocks. The fit is no longer "tight" between the tires. Then just pull forward onto the Anderson. When leaving, back onto the 1" blocks again. To keep from reaching between the tires, my wife pulls everything out with the awning rod.
