".....Here is what I resorted to to keep the refrigerator cold when on the highway. It does work."

I'm doing that, but with a leftover piece of reflectix. We leave tomorrow for a week in the north of AZ. Temps in 60's predicted, but what-the-heck.

Well, I have some more days of highway driving and am now finding the furnace filter I posted about above and showed in a photo is not helping keeping the refrigerator cold. It still seems to loose about 3-4 degrees of inside refrigerator temperature each three hours of driving. The freezer looses even more.

Tom, the information about the refrigerator lock out after three tries is interesting,
Where did you find that?

.
Most all gas appliances have a lockout after 3 ignition attempts as a safety feature.

This is from the service manual.

Hi Kountry Kamper received our new bottom shelf and tray will be here Fri. Or Sat . Have little fan too . Just need to install fan . I think you mentioned it pushed air down not upwards ? Is there a reason for that ? The little battery ones I think air goes upwards . Anyway really like the shelf . Will maybe use crisper in outside box to keep things more together . The lid ? Oh and we took the little frame off of plastic lid and it fits under freezer turned upside down for a little lip . Very happy !
