Another question, dollar conversion?

I currently own a Casita, but am thinking very hard of going for a 5.0 Escape. I can not find the answer on the Escape website, but all prices are quoted in Candian dollars. How does the conversion work?

Re: Another question, dollar conversion?

It's basically the exchange rate at the time of payment.. If you use a wire transfer, your bank handles it... you can pay in Canadian dollars and your bank will debit your account the appropriate USD.

Re: Another question, dollar conversion?

Welcome Randya,
I have a widget on my iGoogle page, but a good source is to google currency converter calculator and you will get a few sites. Because of the changes the actual amount you spend will vary. Right now the rate is 1 U.S. dollar equals 1.18 Canadian dollars. The converters give a general idea, but the value is determined when the American money is put into the Escape account. Obviously some days are better than others, and as I've watched thus far, I haven't seen the jumps like the stock market!
I know you'll be happy with the Escape!

At the moment, the Canadian dollar is worth about 80 cents U.S.
A few months ago it was a buck for a buck, so you are in a good position to buy. Google "currency converter" and you can determine what you would pay today in U.S. dollars ( depending on the bank you're dealing with, but all in the same ballpark ). Just enter the amout of the purchase in Canadian dollars and it will tell you how much that is in U.S. dollars.

You're gonna get a sweet deal.

Re: Another question, dollar conversion?

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure how Escape handled it, or how the conversion worked.,
