Awning
Went on our first trip with the camper and all went well except for the awning. The previous owners stowed it out side, we keep it under a 20' wide by 30' long we also keep a sailboat under. When we opened the awning it either had been rolled up wet or was rained on before we picked it up. It was moldy and stunk.
Anyway it looks like I can just remove one bolt from the each end of the awning keeping it locked then slide the end attached to the camper out just like the side nets on the Corsair. Anyone done this yet or have any recommendations.

Before you take it all off, you could try cleaning it with some OxiClean and see if it will kill and remove the mold. We've used it on our home deck awning with good luck cleaning off the mold that builds up from being rolled up wet.

Mine was moldy once i put it away wet - i cleaned it which takes some work but cleans up nicely i didn't think it would come off but it did!

If it comes to it, replacing the fabric is not all that tough, I have done it 3 times before on trailers. Lots of videos on YouTube describing procedures, and if you need to go that route, I would be happy to lend advise.

Go out and buy a gallon of mold and mildew killer, dump it into a garden sprayer. Open the awning and spray it down with the M&M remover, roll it up. wait 10 minutes and hose it off.
Keep in mind it contains bleach so watch your clothes and eyes.
I've had to scrub mine with a brush when it gets bad just before hosing it off.

The original awnings on the classic trailers are Carefree Fiesta. If you don’t have the service manual you can find it at the link below. It has some standard maintenance info and instructions for canopy replacement if it gets to that.

Unfurl and hit it with a pressure washer first. Makes a mess but does a pretty good job. My washer also has a detergent feed tank.

Don't hit it too hard. Pressure washers can do a lot of damage ( see the holes in my concrete sidewalk ).

Mold happens. Even awnings put away dry get moldy over the winter when the trailer sits outside... don't ask me how I know. I just use Dollar Store Awesome cleaner and a soft brush. Pretty easy to do when the awning is fully extended and in the down position. Just keep the cleaner off the trailer as it takes off wax too. Part of Spring maintenance!

Clean
Finally had time to clean the awning. I have used tilex on the interior of my boat for years so tried it on the awning. Lightly wet it, sprayed tiles on rolled it up for 15 minutes rinsed it off. It's actually white under the mold and mildew.
So Tilex did the job. 
Now to find my posts on the AC and tool box!

Like Scrubbing Bubble and lots of other similar products, Tilex probably contains chlorine ( bleach ). The instructions on the awning say to use ONLY mild soap and water and a soft brush ( doesn't work all that well ).
If you apply a product with chlorine in it, I would rinse it off as quickly as possible. This is what happened to my t-shirt. I was under the awning and spraying the underside.

I would get some 303 or similar product put on now .It will eat the awning if you don't too caustic. Pat

Your shirt looks like it has either meteor trails or some sort of sealife traveling across it.

The awning is vinyl and not a very heavy one at that . It is your awning and you can do what you like with it. There are much better products to use , that won't damage the vinyl . Pat

Has anyone tried vinegar? It worked for me and my shirt didn't get splatters. But how can we keep in clean when it rains? My last camper had a fully enclosed awning which stay clean and dry.
