Awning Replacement Fabric

After suffering through a couple bad hail storms, our awning has started to leak a bit. I know these spider web type cracks can be sealed, but because they underside is not so pristine anymore, we are going to replace our fabric.

I will likely check with Escape as well to see if they can supply the fabric, but thought I would first ask here to see if others had good ideas on suppliers.

Our awning is a 12' model that extends 7'. I have looked around at a few places, some that make them to suit the width, and a couple that seem to have Carefree replacements. The biggest problem I am finding is that almost all replacements are 8' deep, and the arms on my awning will not extend that far, so a 7' is needed.

Any ideas?

I am willing to pay more for a quality fabric that will last even longer. I see some offerings of an acrylic fabric, that supposedly has less issue with mold, as it supposedly breathes. Obviously, I have a bit of concern with the waterproofing effectiveness of this, but if it does work well in shedding water (kinda like Gortex) it sounds good.

I would think that 8' is what you will need as the 1' is not used, your reach is limited by your arms not the fabric.

The stock fabric is 7', and if you use an 8' replacement, then the extra foot remains wrapped up on the roller tube, and the valance would be wrapped up too.
