Ours slowly closes, takes about a minute to work it's way closed, seems to be a very loose fit in the channel. Suppose I can cut a small wedge for it but thought I'd see what others do, if it's not just ours.

Our bathroom window does not stay open either. We hung a small black blinder clip with fishing line from the window lock (so we wouldn't lose it) and clip it on the window channel to keep the window open.
