Battery System Question

Does the toggle switch to the battery need to be in the OFF position when the trailer is hooked to station power? The 50amp fuse going to the battery keeps burning out. Or, is there some other issue: I am certain no electrician. Thanks in advance.

The battery disconnect switch is intended only for long term storage to eliminate phantom drains on the battery.

I have no idea on the reason your fuses are blowing, though something is amiss. I seem to recall this happening before, and maybe someone else will have an idea.

Otherwise, an electrician, or even a good RV shop should be able to sleuth out the problem.

I take it that you are under warranty. You might want to call Escape about it.
