Birds Nest in AC

Went to wash our Escape and noticed leaves and debris inside the AC housing on the drivers side. After removing the top, I quickly realized it was a birds nest. No birds or eggs were found, thankfully. I hope they didn't ride with us to Asheville a few weeks ago. The holes on bottom of the unit (black plastic portion) are large enough that small birds can enter, so checking periodically is now on the list.

Something else you can do .If you don't install a cover on the whole trailer , you can install a cover on the Ac unit when not camping . The Ac cover also protects the Ac shroud which can crack from uv's .if you have to replace the shrouds are pricey . Pat

Had a nest there too. The step ladder and a hefty bag stuffed along those holes in storage now.
