Broken fresh water drain valve

Lever broke off. Had been using box end wrench for leverage. Any one replaced?

Here is a fairly long thread on the drain valve, including a discussion on whether a plastic or brass replacement should be used...

Order or buy a new plastic valve for a few bucks, take the old our off, put the new one in and get 5 or 6 years out of a new one. If it gets hard to turn, spray with silicone. Others may do differently, this is what I have done and it works good for me.
