Carpet under the dinette

Noticed the floor gets pretty cold on the feet when we travel over the winter, even with the underbody foam. Looking for ideas for carpeting or some such under the dinette that looks decent.

We wear shoes of some sort inside most of the time. Even if you didn't, could you not wear slippers or a heavy sock if hanging about?

A couple loose carpet mats that match your floor might not look too bad at all either, they could easily be shaken out if needed too.

The 3/8" thick cork floor I did in my 19 was really warm under foot, and as a bonus looked great too. If I ever get the need or desire to change out my flooring in the future, this is definitely what I will do.

We do wear slippers, gets cold even with those although they certainly help. I'm thinking something like removable carpet or foam squares. That or I have to start doing like Jon and leave for the south in Sept instead of Jan.

We bought a piece of "runner" that you can find in a roll at most hardware stores. Usually they have a few colors to choose from and it has a bit of rubber backing. We run it from the the edge of the step, to the edge of the table pedestal and then ran a piece from side to side under the table and cut a slit and hole around the pedestal. I find ir doesn't move hardly at all and it's pretty much trip proof. I then fit a piece by the door. Basically the floor only shows a bit on the sides. We have a small hand held vacume that we run over it once in awhile. I really like it because it can take a lot of use and still looks good - it keeps the floor warm.

I purchase remnants and cut pieces for use in the winter and take them out in the springtime. The dogs enjoy them more than we do.

We usually put a blanket under the table for Jasper, and he just lays beside it.

The best rug in the dinette area, bar none. In my opinion.

Granted, the table wasn't installed.

I like the idea, it'd have to have a little white dog motif though.

That would hold it in place too. Is it a pain to clean around/under, or do you take the table leg out?

I just lift it up and sweep underneath and then sweep the top.

I would think you would sweep the top, and then ... sweep underneath.
