Bad news Robert, it might be a few years then. More if camping counts as busy.

Hi: rbryan4... I don't think he'll ever be "Free", but he may be reasonably cheap. You can usually tell by a guys hair cut!!! Alf

I would have to say it stands for whatever you read into it.

Hi gmchamplin, if you would not have opt for jack antenna. What would you use for service?

Other options include:
o DVD player - very reliable, but I need DVDs (Red box or from home)
o WIFI into the DVD player - depends on campground WIFI or a cell phone hot spot that I don't have yet
o Campground cable - I would get the "TV Ready" option for this
o Jack antenna mounted on a mast

Disadvantages of the roof-mounted Jack antenna:
o It will force me to a 12' door instead of a 10' door if I get a garage.
o I haven't found anything that I want to watch over the air so far.

After having both the Winegard and Jack antennas on my prior Escapes, I went for the tv ready option. If there is cable at the cg I can watch it, other wise I use the built in dvd player. Since I have made this decision I have yet to use either.

Way I wished we had gone . We got the wineguard installed . Wasn't a Jack option then . We mostly if in a campground hook up to their cable tv and boondocking watched a DVD . Glad the hookups are installed . Pat

I'm not much on TV, but Gail is. We have a cable hook up I installed in our Parkliner we only used once, and that was for a weather report in a bad thunderstorm we were in. We don't even use the DVD much, probably because we are such inveterate readers. I suppose a cable hook up would be nice, but I don't need a TV antenna.

Without a TV antenna could I park a 5.0TA in a garage with a 10' door?

Frank
