Easy work around for self opening cabinets

For those who AREN'T professional woodworkers, I had the door come open on the cabinet under the stove during transit. I guessed it was because that is where I store my pots and pans. They probably hit the door with more force than the latch could restrain.
I placed one of the tension rods which I also use to keep stuff on the fridge shelves just inside the door behind the frame about 1 1/2 inches up from the bottom. Seems to have solved the problem.
I haven't had the drawers open by themselves even though we do travel off road.
