Most of my lessons, like this one, I had to learn the hard way. Will Rogers, my favorite humorist, was talking about how men learn. He put us into three groups.

"There are three kinds of men.
The one that learns by reading.
The few who learn by observation.
The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves. "

Will Rogers

Why do I find myself in group 3 so often?

Possible, but unlikely. Based on the exterior pictures of the 21 it is offset from the fridge. Do you see any plumbing under the DS rear dinette seat tight to the fridge wall? That’s where it looks like it should land.

This board here and an external relay would allow this type of operation.
Now you do come up with some of the most interesting ideas.

Thanks

Turning Off City Water

Seems like a good idea to shut off the "city" water supply when away from the trailer.
Just so happens on our last trip the trailer hose connection piece became dislodged such it doesn't turn easily, making connecting a hose difficult. So I stopped at the local hardware store and picked one of those brass 90's, in this case a brass 45 degree, that also has a shut-off lever built into it. From now on I'm going to just flick the lever when we leave the trailer for extended time.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I guess turning off the city water connection when the trailer is vacant would be a good idea. Maybe put one of these on the buy list. I use a quick disconnect fitting on the water hose where the hose connects to the city water connection. With a shutoff valve, I wouldn't get sprayed so much from the residual pressure in the hose when I disconnect it.

The shut-offs work, but why not just turn the handle on the site's faucet?

I'll admit that I don't generally do this, but then on most stops I don't leave the water hose hooked up - I just use water from the tank, then refill the tank before I leave.
