Since I don't (haven't) used the shower in Ten Forward, the plug is always closed. However, it's also something I remember from my Scamp days. What a mess it can make if left out and towing with full gray water tank! One of the big reasons I always leave the plug closed, is I'd rather the gray water back up into the kitchen sink than the shower pan when the gray water tank is ready to overflow. The kitchen sink is easier to clean. YMMV
