Coating on the Outside of Spray On Foam

Does anyone know what coating I can use for a piece of foam that broke off? The coating appears to provide some protection from the elements. The underlying foam appears soft and porous.

Thanks- Virgil

Do you mean the type of paint used to coat/paint the foam or type of foam to reapply? The paint is just any spray black and the foam is just construction expanding foam sold in hardware stores.

I ask Reace at Escape and he suggested high-heat spray paint intended for barbeque grills... he said it was a little thicker and less likely to run than cheaper spray paint.

On the surfaces where the original paint was regularly abraded off the foam by road dirt/sand/gravel I ended up using Rust-oleum "Leak Seal Flexible Rubber Coating". So far it has been more durable than paint.

I Just used some undercoating spray to repair damage done by debris while traveling on gravel roads.

This may have been discussed before, but....has any one applied insulation under their escape themselves? If so, what did you use and how is it holding up? Suggestions? Thanks, Clem

See this post. Ron in BC did his 19 and I did a Scamp. We both used 2” rigid insulation giving an R-10 value.
