As long the interior was warm there is plenty of room for expansion in your exterior fresh/grey tanks.

We've been at 16 the last few nights, no issue as long as it warms up during the day, which it has to 40-50.
I'll not try dumping in the am if it's been cold, wait till late afternoon.
If it's not going to warm up during the days, I'd go dry.
SOP is disconnecting and draining the water hose when it's going to freeze if you have hookups.

When temperatures are near freezing, we just don't hook up to city water. We just fill the fresh water tank when it is above freezing, then put away the hose and filter. We normally only have to fill up about once a week.

I have the winterizing T valve option on my trailer. When it gets below freezing, I drain the fresh water tank and connect a 5 gallon water container to the T valve to supply the pump. Since it's inside the trailer, it won't freeze and keeps the hot/cold water going to the sinks.

Well, at 9 degrees overnight and sub close to freezing on drive home, the grey and black water levers froze along with the fresh water turncock.....never thawed out as we arrived home and a quick trip to dump....had to let sit in heated garage overnight....hopefully no frozen lines and no damage....will get results tomorrow...stay tuned.

Say Ranotta, Can't you just pay off someone and do something about that cold? I'm sitting in San Diego trying to figure out how to get to Bellingham. I-5 is way too boring and your street #97 has got to be a little slippery.
Starting out tomorrow .... maybe its going to be 101 once I get past the big cities.

Apparently everything worked out and RV was able to winterize and also to empty tanks as they thawed out over weekend. Whew!

Sorry took so long to return. Been dealing with cleanout of trailer from trip....hope yours is going well....yes, hyway 97 is NOT the way to go north now. more snow is coming as we speak. Yes, I-5 is not fun and ugly! If you have time 101 is best. Time yourself coming over coast range to meet up with I-5....snow is coming.
