Colorado tow vehicle- hitches and 5th wheel tailgate

Hello fellow 5th wheel/smaller truck enthusiasts!
Does anyone know whether the standard 5th wheel hitch will work rather than the Anderson Ultimate? Would rather not go to the gooseneck ball hitch.

Also, has anyone found a 5th wheel tailgate for the Colorado?

If these questions appear in any other thread I haven't found yet, I'd appreciate any direction to those.

Yes you can put in standard 5th wheels hitch into late model Colorado/'Canyon, but Anderson makes a version that sits on universal rails (not goose neck). Anderson comes in about 100 pounds lighter then typical 5th wheel hitch.

Not likely anyone makes a 5th wheel tail gate as manufacture never anticipated anyone would tow a 5th wheel and aftermarket vendors likely see this as very small market which means very few sales, but I'm sure someone could make a custom one for you.
