I'm using a pool noodle cut to fit the two short sides and held on with a strap, seems to do the job.

Downside of the Calmark other then price, it's heavy and very bulky. Harder to work with the the Adcos I've had.

We did the same with our CalMark. We got 3"± pool noodles at the 99 cent store. We cut about ¼ of it away length-wise, then cut them to length on the sides, with another for the back. They snap right over the aluminum frames of the solar panel.
The CalMark cover slides over them easily. The two of us can manage the cover with two step ladders. Per the instructions from CalMark (and finding a youtube video showing the same thing) we roll it back from the front, to the space between the MaxFan and the A/C unit, and then roll forward from the back to the same spot. Then slide it (we call it 'the snake') off the trailer to one side into a plastic barrel or a trash bag.
To install, reverse the process. We tie a piece of rope to the end of 'the snake', one of us one the ladder tosses the rope over the middle of the trailer, then lifts the end of 'the snake' to the trailer top and feeds it through to the other side while the other of us pulls on the rope and then 'the snake' until it's hanging all the way down on = on both sides. Roll the front out, roll the back out, Done. It took longer to type this than do it! It's more bulky than heavy, but the method makes it easy.
