Crack in shower floor

We have a small crack in the shower floor- it’s not in the corner, it’s more towards the middle.
Any ideas what one could use to seal/ repair it?

It's gel coated fiberglass - any good boat repair shop can fix it.

It’s not very big approx. 2 inches, was hoping there was something we could do ourselves.
Anymore thoughts?

If it's truly a crack and not a scratch, filling it probably won't hold up. The floor sustains quite a bit of weight in a small area, when a body is standing right on that area. Of all the fiberglass work I'm NOT willing to do on Ten Forward, I think I'd attempt to do the shower floor. One thing if I screwed it up where it looked bad, I'd just cover it up with a rug!

We had something that look like a crack on our bathroom floor but upon further examination it was only a fine gel coat crack. Never got any worse that I could remember and because its only the gel coat and not the fibreglass it will never leak.
I kind of viewed it like the first scratch or door ding on your new truck.

If you want to do it yourself, you'll need to grind out the crack to see if it is down into the fiberglass or just a gelcoat crack.

Before our trailer we had a camper we bought used . The shower pan had a cracking in the pan . I repaired it with fiberglass mat cloth we had from making aquariums .Got some material from a boat supply . Redid the pan bottom . That was in use for 12 years before we sold because we bought the Escape .taped around the drain .coated the bottom which was yellow clear , could see the mat , then coated with gel gloss . I redid the whole bottom though . Really don't know how bad yours is but the video instructions would also work .it really isn't hard to do . I would want mine fixed if mine . It would bug me . Pat

If it's a real crack, I'd fix it as shown above then add one of the wooden floor mats some folks use to keep the weight off that spot. I;d worry the flexing from standing on it would just crack it again.

I believe my Escape 19 shower pan also has a fine gel coat crack. Just wondering how yours is holding up?
