Danby microwave DOA in our 21'

After three years of light use the Danby microwave that came with our Escape 21' has stopped heating anything, although the clock and timer still work.

I'm assuming that fixing it would cost more than getting a new one, so I'm wondering if any other Escape owners have had their Danby microwave die, and what make and model they replaced it with that turned out to be better.

I haven't removed the Danby yet, and wonder is it's just a matter of buying an oven of the same size by any manufacturer and plugging it into the same space and outlet. We only plan to use ours with AC power, never the inverter.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Ours came with a Dometic microwave but if it dies any microwave that fits would be a fine replacement as long as it fits in the space . If you go a little smaller just make sure it is secured and you are fine . Pat

Don't know about that specific unit, but there may be a fuse that popped if you can pull it out of the shell.
