DM2663 Refrigerator Question

Our 2 month old fridge has developed a strange quirk. At least once a day while sitting in the dinette we hear the flame go out and then restart immediately after. This may happen 4 or 5 times in a row and then the flame seems to sustain ok. There is no problem with holding temperature. I have SensorPush sensors in both fridge and freezer and there has been no change in temperature over the last two months other than normal oscillation. I'm thinking I might need to clean the flue or burner. Any advice on doing this? The manual is very little help.

Just curious but are you camping at altitude? We had similar issues with ours on our return trip from Chilliwack. Unfortunately Dometic states in the manual that you should not expect these fridges to work good above 5500ft. when on gas (electric no problem). Go figure !

Thanks for the reply, Steve. Yes, we are at 7000 feet right now so maybe that's it.

If you have a manometer, adjusting the regulator down to 10 inches of water instead of the usual 11 will help stop the flameouts. Otherwise it's too much gas for the thinner air at altitude
