Dometic 2663 refrigerator problem

We have a 2018 Escape 21 with the Dometic 2663 refrigerator.
Problem:
When operating on LP, the refrigerator overheats and shuts off. The control panel on the front of the unit is completely off and unresponsive.
I have checked the LP tanks (full), made sure the LP lines have no air, and checked ALL of the fuses that are a part of the refrigerator operations (from the convertor and all of the fuses on the unit itself). The problem is not any of these.
The burner is lighting and appears to be functioning normally until the unit overheats and shuts down.
There is no ammonia smell or stains on the cooling unit.
The trailer is perfectly level.
There is a temperature sensor in the flue that shuts down the unit when it appears to overheat. There is a reset button on it that will allow the unit to resume operations (the control panel is operative and the gas operation resumes). The refrigerator will operate for a while and then shuts off again due to the overheating.
This ONLY happens during LP operation - the electric side is normal and works.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas of what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

My guess is the sensor in the flue could be bad as that seems to be the limiting factor and you have eliminated almost all the other potential problems.

You can tell the flue is overheating? if so I'd check the LP pressure, take a look at the flame, and give it a cleaning, before calling the repair guy.

Take a look at the upper / rooftop refrigerator vent . It should be unobstructed but from my experience that isn’t always the case .

I had the exact same problem. Changed the sensor and hoped that would cure it. Ran it on DC for a small trip and the fridge fuse(30amp) in the power center not only blew but melted.

Related problem, I don't know. Took to a RV place in Corpus Christi for warranty work and they worked with the Dometic folks and replaced the board.
