Well, for example, the FDA and the NSF say fridges should be 40 F or less, freezers 0 F or less. Many may take issue with these organizations - just reporting.....
That temperature (40 F) is cited by health departments in Washington as the maximum safe cold storage temperature. If you get a restaurant workers card, they emphasize it pretty hard in the training.

Not just the 6.7. I have the 5.0 and am on the road now. Temp was 98 yesterday outside and went to 55 in the refrig. I'm living out of a Coleman ice chest. O2cool fan (on my second one) shuts off in the refrig as soon as it starts cooling down. Grrrr.....
Never had this problem in the Domestic Americana in my Casita. Glad to be doing my part to 'save' the planet!
I must admit that the old dometic we had in our old stick trailer had to be monitored to not freeze every thing in the fridge didn't seen to matter how hot it was outside it just worked . Not sure what model it was and what the differences are with the newer ones but it seems we have gone backwards

We had one in a old 1980 motor home we had for 12 years and in our 1992 camper we had for 11 years . They always worked great only replaced a heating element in motor home that's it . Usually used gas to run which was fast and the best . We have the 4.3 and we still haven't used it much yet in our new escape 19 since Nov. we always do bring a ice chest just in case . Hope this new will also be great .
