Door Gasket Is Loose

So I went out to my trailer today to sit and dream, and after I was done doing that and was leaving the trailer, I saw a bit of light coming in around the door just above the door handle. I looked and about a 8" section of the gasket was completely loose from the door.

I put some clear packing tape over the gasket to keep it in place temporarily, but I have zero idea what I can use to adhere it back to the door. I'd greatly appreciate any help. After all, camping season is just mere months away!! Thank you!

Contact cement is widely used for this application.

Are you talking the gasket that's attached to the door, or the one on the door frame around the door? If the latter, I think parts of it are supposed to NOT be glued on, about 50% of mine is that way. I just push it back in place when needed. I believe someone asked Reace about it once upon a time although I do not recall the details.

The one on the door itself does seem to be glued on.

Sorry about that. Yes it is the gasket that is on the door itself. The gasket that is on the frame side is also loose from the handle down and I keep having to push that back in, like you. If there's a reason for that it's pretty obscure.
