good find there, Ian. I may try a pair to see if the hole pattern matches.

Please let us know if they fit, Ian. If they do, I may buy a set for "just in case."

I bought 2 sets for a teardrop trailer I was building (2 right & 2 left), seeing this post I grabbed them from my workshop and will carry the right hand pair with me, I always carry a bunch of spare parts anyway (habit from the Casita and the Boler). I will have my Escape out this weekend so I will let you know if they are the same.

Karen same thing happened to our trailer . Chroming is very thin . If you try to clean up with dremel it will remove the chroming . I was going to try and get them chromed again . I would get a extra set and then see if they can rechrome . Pat

I think you will find the cost for chroming very expensive, you can probably buy many sets of new hinges for the price of re-chroming one set. Re-chroming my bumper one small bumperette cost $75

That's been my experience also. The part has to have a fairly high value to make it worthwhile. Cheaper just to wax them when waxing the rest of the trailer. Unless you're close to salt water or salt air they shouldn't pit too quickly.

Hey guys the hinges hold your door . Kind of important . I bought a extra set from Tammy and there were not cheap about 60.00 . The new ones I purchased are also a lousy chroming job . If they could be redone and a better chroming that you could wax and get a better life out of them . I feel it is worth it . I am interested if the Lee Valley Tools having these hinges at a better price .Pat

Ian, do you know the brand? I had hoped to find some in stainless steel. Dang, so far this is the best I can come up with (US side): McMaster-Carr
