Drawer falling out

My lower kitchen drawer has fallen out twice while enroute. Now this may be my fault that it wasn't shut tight but not sure. Has this happened to anyone else? What have others done to prevent this? No damage at this time but only a matter of time if it keeps happening. Thanks

Head down to Home Despot or wherever and grab a handful of these guys. Each of your drawers likely has 2 of these, and you can add more as needed. it's kind of awkward to install these in the edges of the drawer frames, but they're hidden and don't need to match exactly. They do need to be positioned so that they all get the same amount of spring-latching at the same time, same drawer position. Also work on closet doors.

I've never had a drawer open, but if heading out on washboard, I will run an bungee cord through the handles to keep cupboard doors from opening.

I use a thin bungee cord through the drawer handles to keep the drawers closed.

Home Depot solution

I kept having my drawers fall out of my 2006 17b. Took it to ETI and Reese installed the above cupboard catch’s. I could see them when I opened them but never had another one slide open again. I had one that fell out and I had to glue it back together before it was fixed.
