Okay, got a chance to check behind the dinette cushions today. There are indents in the wall from the hypermesh (but not over the entire area). I would assume they would go away over time, if nothing was pressed up against it. However, since I plan on always having the seat cushion backs in place, I'm not worried about it at all (I know, shocking huh? ). There aren't any rips or scratches at all.

Thank you for checking. Glad to hear no rips or scratches. Indents are okay

I have a question before I start cutting the Aire-Flow moisture barrier we purchased for our 17B. For now I'm just cutting for under the seat cushions. Should I undercut by a 1/4 to 1/2 inch so there is space between the wall and the moisture barrier or take the moisture barrier all the way up to the wall?

Depends on if you have enough to do the entire vertical surfaces. I know around the bed it is needed to allow air, so if you have enough then yes.

I have enough so I don't need to under cut. My concern is the mesh sitting next to the wall as in maybe it's better to leave a gap for air to circulate back through the mesh vs air hitting the wall and stopping. The undercutting would provide more 'space' so to speak. The cushions we have fit so snug.

No vinyl - full fabric wrap on our cushions.

The fabric can also freeze to the vinyl also if there is enough moisture, hopefully the mesh will help.

I used the Hypervent Aire-Flow product under our mattress, the link below should get you a discount, but don't feel obligated. I am now considering adding the product below and behind seat cushions.

Does anyone know of a more inexpensive option to Hypervent, shipping in Canada? DriMesh does not seem to be in business anymore. Need a good product for under our mattress.

I have the Aire-Flow from Mattress Insider, it has worked for us. Since I bought from Mattress Insider they offer a discount to anyone I refer, here is a link: http://mattressinsider.refr.cc/douglasb
I have always wondered if the material used for roof vents would work. I had a few feet left over material at the house. It looks similar. https://www.gaf.com/products/cobra-ridgerunner

Since you're on Vancouver Island try Harbour Chandlery in Nanaimo. I purchased for our E19 Hypervent for under mattress plus perimeter 3 sides. Given length @ 39" width, I think it was 16ft, you can see if you can get better deal. Poco Marine sells at $17.95 a foot so get them to match. Matt owns store.
I found they are great at trying to match other stores like Binnacle, Steveston, Poco, etc.
