Electrical problem fixed?
I have another problem. A google search doesn't turn up my previous thread on my electrical problem, so I have to start a new one.
I finally decided to pull up the bed to get at the fuse panel and found that the fuse I recently replaced was blown again. It is the fuse in position #8 and is not indicated, but by deduction, it is the fuse for the 12V outlets. I replaced it and the voltmeter reads 13.33 and both 12V outlets are working.
So, I still don't know what caused the fuse to blow. I'm just going to monitor the situation, but suggestions are still welcome.
Maybe it was just a bad fuse?

Might have found the culprit.
I plugged my cheap 75 watt inverter into one 12V outlet and plugged in my MacBook Air. The voltmeter in the other 12V outlet turn on red LED and the display began to plummet.
Over to you.

So you think the plug in inverter went bad?
I went through a couple of aftermarket cigarette adapters made specifically for my Mac with MagSafe connector, and they always fried ultimately. Ended up using the 1500W all-outlet inverter that ETI put in and running off the 110V Apple power brick.
Have a new Mac now that’s powered from a USB-C port, so investigating alternatives again...

You guys need to leave the computers at home while camping. I try to only take my IPhone when I go camping unless I know I will have wi-fi at my destination.

Still investigating. Charging iPhone with my buddy's inverter.
I suspect the $9.99 inverter. Or, the cheap fuse.
Anyway, if I left the computer at home, you wouldn't read my sage contributions.

Computer isn’t for camping mode. It’s for travel mode. Except on Fridays. Friday’s are Movie Popcorn Night on the laptop, whether at home, camping, or on the road [emoji327] [emoji897]

Nothing but confused.
Yesterday the trailer monitor was reading Good after the solar panels spent all day in the sun.
We were leaving the next day so I disconnected them when the sun went behind a tree. Trailer monitor instantly read Fair.
I had nothing on in the trailer.
Spent three hours doing dinner etc. at my buddy's trailer. When I returned, the trailer monitor read Good. Ran the furnace all night and in the morning the trailer monitor still read good ( without enthusiasm ).
After cleaning out the trailer, I am going to have a look at the back of the converter for that loose wire.
It's puzzling me and ETI. If I don't solve it, with the forum's help, I'll be taking it out to ETI for some hands on problem solving.

I kinda hate to say this but... Have you considered getting a battery monitor like a Victron or Trimetric? I think your "good" "fair" monitor may be not working correctly.

I am thinking. There is a lot of range between Good and Fair.

I will add that I’m much happier than expected with my Victron. It really is a great addition and would help track loads and battery level. It was also easy enough that I could install.

So this is one mod I have not yet felt the need to do. We've had our dual 6V with 160W ETI installed solar with GoPower controller plus factory inverter/transfer switch and everything just works fine. Replaced the mistake Group 29 12V after 18 months so the 6V's are about 3.5 years old now. We don't use the inverter as much in the last year after ditching the electric coffee pot, yet come to think of it maybe we'll now bring the toaster!

The latest.
Plugged into shore power at home using a different extension cord. Home GFCI has not tripped. I suspect corrosion in the old cord plug ( heavy duty for outdoor use ).
My voltmeter read 13.65 at both 12V outlets.
Decided to check terminal connector I had installed recently. Was surprised to see ( pic 2 ) corrosion. Cleaned it up, but I won't know anything for certain until I have another problem or until I get the sage advice of the forum. Note that I was getting 13.65 before and after cleaning the battery terminal.
