Escape 15B Modification

"15b mod
My plan B (pun intended) was to remove the counter/cabinets between the dinette and bath and make a U Shape seating / sleeping area. One person could sleep in the rear (side-to-side) and the other in the newly created area (front-to-back)."

Lv4toys posted this query on a For Sale thread so rather than go too far off topic on that thread I thought I'd start a new one. The first pic shows rough measurements of my 15A. Coupled with the second picture Lv4toys might be able to see if his modification is reasonable or not.

I think the best way to do twin beds would be to remove the cabinets and just make the beds front to back on each side. One could make a slide-out extension to make them work as benches during the day. And maybe leave lower cabinets like the ones under the dinette seats so you still have some storage. Probably needs vertical supports, too.
