We have a 17 with attached cord. Never have had critter problems. The only thing we do is have a plastic bag that we stuff into the opening behind the plastic door to fill the space;. We had happened to do that after first picking up the trailer in Sumas, and have been doing it ever since.
If we're close to the power pedestal, I tend to lay the power cord over the back bumper corner, so it's not touching the ground at all.

rrgramps, i double over my cord (trailer end to plug end) and then coil. i have one of those large plastic twist ties threaded through the opening in the plug end and then twisted, which keeps it in place. wrap that twist tie through the whole looped cord. i dont think i've ever had it tangle.

I’ve really never had an extension cord tangle. That’s a total sidetrack.

But what about Jane? She wants to know about all these mice we are getting in our Escapes.

The OP thread title and conversation, started by Jane P., is about how well the Escapes are sealed against rodents and insects, in comparison with Bigfoots.

We probably don’t have issues, that I’ve heard about. Gonna go and do a search.
