You may be pleasantly surprised. I replaced the original tires on my F150 at 31,000 miles, they were shot. I am now over 93,000 miles on the truck and the replacements are still going strong! I bought decent tires, nothing special: Bridgestone Dualer H/L Alenzas.

Seems like some of the OEM tires are mediocre at best.

Replacements

Hi Jim
I set my own personal record when the original battery in my 2002 Dakota went three months short of ten years. I traded the Dakota on the 2012 Highlander. That battery went less than three years, the replacement $125 Delco went 11 months ( full replacement “free”) and the third one was ok when I traded it in May. As Chuck Berry would say “ It goes to show you never can tell.” I just gave a guy a mower with a 6 year old $25 battery in it that was still spinning the 22hp. Kohler in good shape.

I bought the same tires that came from the factory Goodyear OWL but the battery is 4 years old, I'm going in for a service tomorrow and may get it checked.

Went on a recent road trip to the Oregon coast. Bed and breakfasts and small sea side cabin accommodations for the most part.

Was very relaxing driving without the 'loaf of heavy bread' behind the truck. Toot toot.
