How about this, we just accept that Escapes, including the bumper pull models, are imperfect. Those who need perfection can look elsewhere. ETI has a backlog long enough that I'm sure it wouldn't hurt them. If the backlog shortened a bit it would just attract more or the impatient sorts, not reduce overall sales.

So, the question arises, where can perfectionists go for their supposedly perfect RV? Every RV forum I've ever visited is about how to fix deficiencies in their equipment. ETI builds one of the highest quality trailers around so where do you go for anything significantly better?

I think this thread has run it's course. I keep coming up with new "witty" comments, as do several others, but they add little to the consensus that has already been reached. As has been pointed out, we are a bunch of devotees who are unlikely to change our minds. What we are doing now is becoming insulting to those who feel differently. I'm going to stop now.

Just one final observation. It is true that your dominant side tends to be larger and more developed than your weaker side. I'm really screwed up because even though my left foot is larger, I am right handed. Maybe that has something to do with why I don't mind asymmetry as much as some others.

If one doesn’t like what available just forget about buying an escape and go start your own company so you can have a perfect rv

Just to throw a little gasoline onto the fire, I wonder if Scamp's 5th wheel has a broken nose?

As Mr. Wizard says, there are no perfect RV's. The highest quality RV (non-trailer) I've come across in my travels is a class C made locally here in California:

Motorhome Dealer | Low Profile Motorhome | RV Manufacturer | Quality Motorhome

Years ago I described the Scamp 5th wheel as looking like it had a cancerous tumor.
