Extraordinarily Excellent Escape Experience

A number of people on this forum have asked "Why Escape?". We chose to buy an Escape 19' instead of another fiberglass trailer for practical reasons: size, layout, options. But now that our purchase process, orientation, and initial use (8 days' camping off-grid) are concluded, we are even more impressed with the company and its products.

One thing stands out as an example of Escape's attention to small details with a big impact: we were given our trailer keys secured to a red lanyard to hang around our necks. It's a little thing, but it made a huge difference to us, after years of saying "Have you got the keys?" when we were owners of another brand. Coming into the trailer, we took off and hung up the lanyards; going out, we slung them around our necks. It was easy, unobtrusive, and assured we'd never be locked out or lose the keys.

Little things mean alot. Like the multi-bit Robertson screwdriver and the corkscrew/bottle opener they put in our trailer. Thoughtful.

Or the time when we were at the Bluebonnet Rally along with Reace and Tammy, and Reace replaced the fridge light assembly while I was out. I'd mentioned to him that I needed to get it replaced. Didn't tell me, he just did it.

What has impressed us most however is how the trailer has been generally trouble free, especially when you consider all the RV forums where SOB owners have a laundry list of issues.

It's one of five Fiberglass trailer rallies held in Texas annually. Reace and Tammy, along with Tammy's parents, attended it in 2015. It was really great to have them, and I think they sold a few Escapes in the process. Info here: Home

I did not get a robertson multiunit screwdriver with my new Escape, my 3rd one.....maybe they got tired of me? Yes, I remember them attending, but they had to leave early due to issues back home, flu and customs if I recall.

I might have been mistaken Jim. Maybe it was in the goodie bag they gave us at Osoyoos? Another perk.

Jim, they probably assumed that you already had two of the screwdrivers!

Besides, you don't need a Robertson screwdriver to remove a propane tank for filling.
