Faucet falling off and fan from WFCO distributor question

Hi Escapees -

I have a 2013 15A, seem to have the standard Escape faucet neck on the kitchen sink. The faucet is coming off. The part that connects to the sink has a black gasket that looks like it should snap in to something. It won't stay on snugly - does not snap in. I have the screw down cap attached tightly. I can get it fairly snug but it wants to come off and shower me. Any ideas on how this connects or a self repair recommendation?

Also, when I am plugged in to electric power, the power distribution center fan is running. Does it run for awhile if the battery is charging? Should it stop? I have plugged in only a few times and do not recall hearing the fan noise. The unit is a WFCO ultra III WF -8900 series.

Thank you for any advice on these issues.

- Jane

I think pictures of your faucet situation may greatly help those who are familiar with these things to give you advice.

I believe the fan runs when it is charging at a high level to keep it cool. Sounds like your battery is fairly low, see if the fan stops after a while, how long depends on the state of charge.

If it keeps running, then it may have gone bad. Had one that came on whenever it was plugged in and stayed on on my old trailer, replaced the converter to fix. That was an Elixer which I replaced with a WFCO.

I have attached pics of the faucet and receptacle. Thank you.
I had it on there pretty firmly and it blew off again last night. Is it possible when there is air in the line that it causes enuf pressure to pop the faucet off?

Also, thank you for the advice on converter. The fan did stop - I guess it does it's cooling thing on a high charge.

thanks for any idea on the faucet.

Do you mean that both taps were turned off and it blew off or that you were running water and it blew off?

If you were running water and it blew off the first thing I'd do is remove the aerator screen and see if it's plugged. Even so, I'd leave it out until you replace the faucet to prevent a pressure build up that's causing the spout to pop out.

yes tap(s) were on and it popped. Great idea about the aerator - I shoulda thought about that. Will check it and leave it off until a repair can be made.
