Secure microwave plate

I took my meds so now I feel better now. We secure the microwave plate with the cardboard tube from the paper towels. Just cut enough of the tube so it fits tight between the top and the plate.

You guys are hilarious! But seriously, I use the microwave for a breadbox and keep our bread in a basket in the microwave - it also protects the glass dish.

We tuck our microwave plate under the mattress when we travel. Many a night we've had a "Princess and the Pea" episode as we discover we're sleeping on it.

Hi: Dave&Kathie... You have to be very careful doing that. You may disrupt the neutron flow causing the bread to rise again. The downward force would then snap the plate and allow the door to open as well!!!
We just keep using the styrofoam filler. Can't make a sandwich out of it but the plate fits into it perfectly. Alf

Sorry I have felt bad for a while now about this. I work for the Microwave industry and follow travel trailers around on a regular basis. See when you are on a long stretch of road going straight I shoot a rope over to your rig and slide across to get inside and either break the microwave out right or I go for the replaceable at a not so reasonable price glass.

Sorry its what they pay me to do. I imagine many of you right now imagine the music in the back ground to be mission impossible but Ive done it 100s of times its not that tough.

My vote is that someone pulled it out to wash it and never put it back in as was already mentioned.
