An amount for a single small boat (or landlocked RV) might be tough to get from the distributor, and not many consumers would be buying this stuff at retail.
I think if you only want a small quantity, Escape may sell it to you. Otherwise, I would try automotive upholstery businesses. If you're lucky, even a general fabric store may have it - but perhaps not in a place as small as Juneau.

You might even try a fabric store as I've seen some there in the past.

I made my own when building what we use to call a VANBOOGI, (1970s talk) and more lately, for a headliner in my 74 Bronco. I purchased the vinyl and foam from a fabric store (good call Karen). I cut the vinyl and foam to the size and shape I wanted and stuck them together using spray contact cement. It's not hard at all, just make sure the spray contact cement isn't the kind that melts the type of foam you purchase. The fabric store should be able to guide you on that.

I believe they have it made for them, and it is not a publicly available item. I would suggest you contact Escape, and they can let you know. Maybe they would sell you some.

I would think for a boat, even more than a trailer, you'd want the foam to be closed-cell, like the old-fashioned ensolite. Open cell foam is like a sponge.

Good point... and there are marine liner materials, but I don't know anything about them in detail.

I once asked Reace if I could buy some for a '55 Ford Fairlane I'm working on and he said I could. The price wasn't too bad either. I'd check with Reace as has been suggested.
