Fresh water inlet hose leak

When I fill my freshwater tank, if the inlet hose is full of water, it leaks unto the floor. The leak is coming out of the expanding foam around the hose at the floor.

Does anyone know what kind of fastener is buried under that foam? Before I remove it I wanted to get a good idea of what I might need to effect the repair.

I guess I am the first (hopefully only) with this problem. Under the expanding foam, the hose is fastened to the fresh water tanks with a hose clamp. On mine, the hose clamp was too high up to clamp onto the plastic inlet connector. I just moved it down and retightened. Next time I am using some expanding foam on something I will put some back around this pipe as it should aid in it staying in place in case it gets bumped by the shore power cord.

Had similar on my old conventional trailer except I suspect the back pressure caused when the tank fills and you have a hose stuffed in the tube made it blow off. Too much water to exit via the overflow. Cost me 3 weeks vacation to replace the soggy rotted out floor.

Does the pressure relief valve that we use from our water supply every wear out? Could they cause a problem by not working properly after several years of use? I have a an occasional leak on my trailers water connection. It is somehow related to the interior check valve or hose connections. Leaks/drips more when water is turned on/off inside the trailer. Any thoughts?
