Front window cover/awning in wind?

How much wind can the front window rock cover/awning take when up?

I think that you will have to test that and let us know! It would depend partly upon the angle.

We were never in high winds. If we were, we would probably put it down, just to make certain that it is not torn out of there. We would never leave it up if gone.

It actually can take more that you might think but, as posted above, the angle is everything. I assume you're at Fort Casey right now and the winds can be fierce there. I've closed mine on occasion there and did so a couple of times this past week--mostly at night so I would not have to get up. My rule of thumb is that if I'm uneasy, I close it.

Yes. In your spot (the one I visited!). I didn't put it up until this morning as it was windy yesterday but just wondering at what point I need to put it back down (besides when I leave and I hope I remember- new things on the checklist.).

Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny. Now, calm but clouding up. Probably a dozen trailers here last night, but at least one hookup spot left and quite a few basic spots.
