Thanks for all the recent answers to my questions. Not that we're going to full-time, but I was just wondering about those things.

Hello, We use our daughters address for everything including banking, she sends us our mail in a priority envelope through the post office about once every two weeks or whenever we need it for approximately $6.75 with all she can fit in the envelope. We would rather pay her the fees to send our mail because we trust her to open anything in question and text us pictures of it, also she can sort out junk for us. We feel much safer having a family member going through our mail for us versus a stranger. We already had our identity stolen this year, so this is a much safer alternative for us.

We were scared to use CA. as our domicile because we had read nightmares about how expensive it was. But we found it not to be any different than anywhere else, when you consider the cost in fuel and RV parks to get back when needed for any logistical reason to a domicile like South Dakota, Texas, etc, we don’t pay any taxes on our social security income here, and only $99.00 a year on our pension. That’s pretty good when you consider we can do our camp-hosting anywhere we want and still get our mail sent to the campground. We don’t really understand why everyone says it is so expensive to make your domicile in CA. If you have family in a rural area your insurance is much cheaper also.

As far as I can tell, a fulltimer would only have to be in Texas once every 12 years unless maybe 72 or over. I think most of them make it more often!
