A good reminder to check this once in a why to ensure there is no blockage.

I just cleaned mine last week when inspecting for leaks, a small risk broom seemed to work, even an old toothbrush could be used.

My leak is no the same as described by Reace. On my leak, water is not running inside the window pane, the water is not getting past the perimeter seal between the glass and the window frame. The circled area in gasket/hand photo, that is fine.

In the photo, the arrow is the water going down this area on the back of the gasket to the metal. Squeazing out between here and the ALU metal of the frame in photo of the window shown, but looking up, both back windows. I picked my trailer up 4 weeks ago. I Appreciate all the help

gocamp,
sounds like your issue is the window itself, not the installation?

gocamp, I'd contact Reace and I imagine he'll set you up for a replacement window install at somewhere near you.

Gocamp, did you have the window repaired or replaced?
I ran water over all our windows back when this was going on and did not see any leaks.
Unfortunately I must not have hit the magic spot as I do have one in the rear passenger side dual window. I have looked at the rubber gaskets and the seals and do not see anything obvious where water could come in.

Here is where the water is leaking into the trailer. Was that where your leak was coming in? I would have send you a note but you must have that disabled.

I have sent a note to escape but am hoping this is something that sealant can handle.

It seems the rust developing on those inside screw heads merits attention, too.

That is where the water is dripping in. One very rusty screw and the ones on either side of it slightly rusty.

Hi: wetzk... Did you check the exterior drain holes where the water gets out? They are small and can plug up fast. Alf

2nd generation Awning style. The only window on ours that has the drain holes is the front non opening one.
gocamp described a very similar problem so hopefully they had it resolved and will notice this has gone active again.

We have several acquaintances who own fairly new conventional 5th wheel trailers ( 1 to 3 years old -- Different mfgs.)
All have frameless windows and all have windows that leak.
The problem seems more prevalent when driving / towing in the rain .
Whether the problem is caused by the inherent design of window or improper installation is not the trailer owners real concern , ending the leak is.

Hello and Yes I have a leaking problem on our 17B back double windows. The water comes in and gets the cushions wet on the driver's side in the back. Rease is going to send me new stuff to put on, but we are heading out to the Colorado woods for 4 days and its 40% chance of rain. Which, in the high country, means a soaking. I put some duct tape on the top of the window where they come together but not not sure of that location as correct. I read where someone else saw a tiny gap when viewed from inside. I can also see a tiny gap on either side of the bottom separating strip of Al between the two windows and wonder if water is getting up inside that way. I put duct tape over it but don't know if it will hold or not.

I hope some one has some help before we head out Thursday (extremely early in the morning).
Thanks

I believe ETI is installing some vinyl strips covering along the window tops, over the hinge portion. So a piece of tape there should perform the same function until you receive the strips from the factory.

And paint thinner will remove the adhesive goop that is left when you remove the tape. Don't leave it there too long.
